1. Bring Agenda, notebook, computer, pen, pencil, paper, and homework to class each day.
2. When you enter the room, you need to take your seat quietly, sharpen your pencil (if necessary), take out homework/class work, and get your materials ready for the day’s assignment.
3. Only use pencils or blue or blackpens for writing. You are required to have a set of colored pencils for some assignments.
4. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the class rules and adhere to them.
5. Homework is a necessity since we will be practicing the skill, ideas, and concepts of Science during class.
6. At the end of class, you need to copy homework assignments and reminders into your Agenda.
8. Science Labs MUST be written in Lab form. Labs will count as ONE test grade
9. Several Science projects will need to be completed at home. Depending on the complexity, these projects could count as multiple grades. NOlate projects will be accepted after the due date. If you are absent on the due date, contact a friend to bring it to class in your absence.
10 When you return from an absence, you need to check with a friend for any assignments you missed during your absence. When you complete the assignment, please put it in the Late/Makeup folder. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY WORK MISSED DURING AN ABSENCE. If you are absent for a Test or Lab, it will be made up the day after you return.
11. Late assignments are penalized twenty points within 2 days of due date. Any assignments turned in 3 days beyond due date are penalized thirty points.
12. Extra credit to improve grades may be made available to the entire class but not on an individual basis.
